Artist's description:

Painted in early Spring, Verdronkene Zwarte Polder is a nature conservation area near Nieuwvliet Bad in Zeeland, Netherlands. I found the composition of the wooden bridge leading across the water and the natural colours of the sand, bushes and reeds very pleasing. In the distance there are two red-tiled rooves. These are typical for the region and they add interest to the painting. I hope the subject invites you to take a walk here.
