This painting is a representation of a strong female energy, a presence that takes her strength from nature and reflects that strength back to the world around her, influencing it with her inner wisdom and resilience. It's inspired by the many, many women I know that are fighting for a fairer, more ecologically healthy and kinder world.
Like all my paintings, it was an image that emerged as I was painting and developed organically during the process, rather than being planned out prior to painting. The painting creates a strong sense of female energy that gives a feeling of reassurance and inspiration.
