All going in the same direction, well... almost all.....
a 2 color linocut print reduction, this means that as I am printing the very short edition of 8 prints I cut away areas to keep the colour I just printed.
It is a bit of a head game, you have to think very carefully, and register the colors correctly, that is, for each color, you ink up the lino and take it through the press, that means the paper and plate has to be exactly positioned every time. A bit crazy, but by far my most favorite printmaking technique! When I am done, the plate is unusable, and I only save it as proof of it being mine. You can join over 60.000 viewers on Youtube, to see how a reduction print is made and printed by me, go to and search under my name to watch a whole gang of printmaking movies. Some of them are in the "me at work" section of my shop.
All my lino prints are printed by me, printmaking is my big love!
The print measure 9.5" x 10" (24 cm x 26 cm),
with the actual image being 8" x 8" (20 cm x 20 cm)
it is printed on a warm white printmaking paper.
I mail from my studio in Denmark, carefully wrapped and packaged for safe transport.
Just let me know if you would like giftwrap?
Thank you so much, for looking in my shop and welcome back.
