Original artwork description:

Recently I have been fascinated by the lovely summer hot sun shining through the trees in our local wood where I walk my dog. I've done a series of paintings inspired by this. This is one of them. I've worked on the painting over around 3 days, letting each layer dry before adding more oil paint in thicker layers to create texture and depth.

This painting is ready to hang, but also you could get it framed in a tray or float frame, which would look great.

The sides are painted paynes grey.

Materials used:

Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
