This is a 5 colour linocut reduction of a still life. I was inspired by Braque’s own beautiful cubist works, the idea being that objects are broken up and reassembled in an abstracted form so instead of depicting objects from a single viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints.
In this still life I’ve combined textile patterns as well as a plate with Aubergines and two glasses.
Please be aware that as this is a handmade linocut print that there are creases around the margins of the artwork, these can be easily hidden with good framing. This is a very limited of only 3 prints and 2 APs.
