when the first touch of green shows on the fields, and the birds start to sing, that is spring.

a collagraph means that I on a board cut away details and lines to create spaces for ink to sit, I ink up each print, only 2 in this color, with dabbers, brushes and other tools, in reality I paint the board, I then place it on my press, put the damp paper on top and pull it through, and the inks transfer to the paper. Collagraphs are by their very nature fragile plates to print from and very few prints can be achieved.

The collagraph print measure in paper, a lovely cream heavy weight paper,
14" x 17,5" (35 cm x 45 cm )
and the printed area measures 10,5" x 13,5" (27 cm x 35 cm )
