This is a bit of a dramatic 'statement' painting looking towards a distant view of my local landmark 'folly' tower. It is painted with lots of luscious reds using watercolour, acrylic ink and oil pastels over a textured board which includes gesso and a little collaged paper.
This work has a lot of texture in it and I have encouraged a depth of textured effects including crackle-glazing in places. This painting is sealed with a Loxley satin varnish for protection and stability and is framed in a 3" wide limed and painted wood frame. the painted can be sold unframed if preferred for £25 less, please email me for this option.
N.B.The 'in context' (interior) picture is not always exactly to scale and the measurements should be checked against the ones stated.
Mixed media including acrylic ink, gesso, watercolour and oil pastel on board and framed in a plain painted and lime waxed 3" wooden frame
