Artwork description:
This is a drypoint etching on acrylic that had shattered during the process of printing through the press. I decided to use the fragmented pieces to create this Artist Proof, exploring how shattered pieces lend themselves well to this type of portraiture and project Lost Generations.
The print has been printed on a thin sheet of bamboo colour handmade paper and pressed onto fabriano paper in a technique called Chine Colle.
