Original artwork description:

I love drawing from life more than photos when possible but this comes with added challenges. This drawing is an example of why dogs and most animals don’t make great life models! It’s always a race against time to try to capture them before they move, especially when, as in this case, they done like being looked at! I drew this pretending not to look at Shadow and each time he would catch me I would look away! Eventually, after catching me looking at him numerous times, he had enough of me spying on him and decided to move. Haha, what a dog!
Obviously, I could have finished the rest of the picture from a photo, but somehow I like how it looks in this state.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
