When my (now) husband and I moved in to our home we planted this tree. After we planted it together he got down on a knee and proposed. Now, it's huge and we see it everyday out of our bedroom window. I love the way the sunsets behind it and the pealed bark is exaggerated by light and shadows, I had to paint it!
