Artist's description:

Love, sexual desire, morality and censorship... the inability to express what we actually feel because of how others will perceive and judge us. The internalization of our unexpressed needs get mutilated over time and find expression in grotesque forms. Just how it may feel to love and desire with abandon? How it may set us free and grow into a beautiful thing? The promises that promiscuity holds for us and the reason why it is such a forbidden fruit! It has the capacity to rejuvenate us or drive us to self destruction.

I have used watercolor wash on handmade paper and filled in the details with a pen using waterproof ink.
