Lavenders are amongst my favorite flowers, I have some in my garden and when they come out I have to fill a vase. The pink lavender in my old brass vase, never fails to give me immense pleasure.
I have created this collage on a stretched canvas, ready to hang. I start by giving the entire canvas a coat of black acrylic paint and then I have used magazine papers to create the pink lavender flowers and leaves, I have also used magazine papers to make the vase. The "table cloth" is made from pieces of magazine papers. Once glued onto the canvas with acrylic medium, I have added touches of acrylic paint to enhance the image, and added layers of very a soft white acrylic to the background, without touching the edges, they are still black, so it really does not need framing, but of course, you can frame it if you want.... once it has all dried, I have varnished the image with a UV varnish for longevity.
The size of the stretched canvas is 30 cm x 30 cm (12" x 12") and it comes complete with a hanger ready to go on the wall.
I ship the painting/collage from my studio in Denmark, and it comes flatpack, sturdily packaged, to arrive safely. I use courier for the one of a kind pieces of art, if you would like to have it sent normal mail, that is, less expensive, just get in touch and we'll arrange that.
If you have any questions, you are so welcome to get in touch,
