Quite stark images for a modern space, pencil greys complement a minimalist environment or maybe an office space. They would also hang very comfortably in your ultra modern kitchen!
I love to play around with collagraphs, a very loose way of printmaking and the 2 fish prints are collagraphs, that means that I have created my "ingredients" to be inked up in various materials. I only print a few, and they vary so much, that you receive the prints in the photo. As I ink very loosely the colors vary, and can not be reproduced, I alos sprinkle solvent on the ink to disturb it creating a bit of a water spray. I tend to at most make 4 - 5 prints from the collagraph plate/s, as their purpose is to be very creative and not as process bound as my etchings and linocuts.
The 2 collagraphs are printed from a pieces of foam board that I have incised a line on and then inked up and printed.
The paper I have chosen is warm white and measures 11" x 15" (28 cm x 38 cm)
The actual images measure 8" x 12" each (20 cm x 30 cm)
I have signed and numbered the images on the front, and you receive these very prints.
You can make quite a large piece out of the 2 prints with the right mat and frame as it is strong and quite masculine.
I ship from my studio in Denmark, wrapped so it arrives safely to you, just say if you would like gift wrap!
Thanks, for looking in my shop, and welcome back.
