I wanted to celebrate one of the most well known Venezuelan indigenous tribes, the Yanomami.
The jungle is layered with different tones of green, creating an almost relief effect, against the focal point of the image which is the Yanomami girl. I wanted the image of the girl to be lost in luscious greens.
Painted on a 30x30cm cotton/linnen mix canvas, using a mixture of acrylics, ink and watercolour
