Artist's description:

Looking up at the blue
Blue shapes,
In the sky,
Walk along the Trailway,
Fauny shades,
With a pink hue,
Hints of catkins,
On the winter branches,
Feeling good.

Words and feelings of my experience walking along the ‘Stour valley Trailway’in North Dorset.
When you discover a wonderful walk in the countryside it puts your whole meaning of living into perspective!

I wet the rough textured watercolour paper ,taking my large sable haired brush. I began with pale ,delicate colours of yellow and pink then dashed the blue on leaving some of the light for the soft ,wispy clouds.I then created a base line for the horizontal line and dragged the paint up very exspressively .

Materials used:

Rough textured watercolour paper-Bockingford acid free, large sable haired brush,Chinese bamboo brushes,Holbein watercolour paints, water,
