Oil painting on canvas "Way up in Carpathians" depicts a landscape that he saw in the Carpathian mountains during a trip, but this is not an exact copy of nature, but a rethought plot.

The motive of the road, the path is relevant for me now because on the way to my dream of a workshop house on wheels. Now for me this is a kind of image, a reminder to myself that we must try not to deviate from the chosen path and bring the matter to the end.

Used in this work a mixed technique of applying paints. The first layer of paint is transparent, glazed like in watercolor painting, and then it gets denser, first with a brush, and at the end he applied thick layers of paint with a palette knife.

The size of the canvas with the image is 48x48 cm, the full size of the canvas is 51x51 cm

Painted on canvas without stretcher.
Italian canvas 100% cotton with acrylic primer. Italian oil paints Maimeri. In some places, he applied paint in a thick layer using a palette knife.

After purchase, the painting must be pulled onto a stretcher.

Original painting in a single copy. A certificate of authenticity will be attached to the package.
