Artist's description:

This cluster of old white-washed and red-rooved buildings behind the rocks piled up against the sea wall were a must for me to paint when I spotted them while walking on the beach at Dysart in Fife, Scotland. I have left the rocks on the shore a bit abstract so as not to detract from the more detailed lines of the architecture of the houses. The white and red of the houses contrasting against the dark colours of the rocks in the foreground and dark Scottish skies are typical for the area and offer a pleasing composition.
This original watercolour painting was painted on 650g, 100% cotton rag, mould-made paper and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist
