I paint my emotions, and how I feel at the moment. This work came about at a time when I was down emotionally. It happens sometimes when I am feeling unhappy with my life. It is not necessarily a self-portrait but how I am feeling at that moment. There are instances when the hurt is obvious but no one can see it or decides not to do anything about it!!
