Original artwork description:

'Happenstance' takes one on a journey of spontaneity. A gestural painting in the style of Joan Mitchell, this painting is rich in movement and energy. The colour palette consists of various values of teal, aquamarine, and green along with white. There are markings adding to the spontaneity of the work.

Using professional acrylic paint on double primed canvas, the painting is continued to include the sides of the canvas wrap and is ready to hang with wire attached. It works beautifully on its own or with its companion piece Happenstance II (see in situ images featuring both works)

A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection.
