Part of a series of works painted down in Cornwall when I was based at Polkerris, near to St Austell. I love this place and am keen to get back there again this year if I can. For this view I had walked from the main beach at Polkerris, beyond Gull Rock and up onto the cliffs behind in order to look down onto the rock and the beach beyond it.
This painting comes to you carefully wrapped and ready to frame with my trade-mark North Downs Studio stamp and accompanying Certificate of Authenticity. It is part of a collection of three paintings of the south Cornish coast produced on this trip in 2016.
