Her teardrops turn to gold ...
Pastel drawing of a woman whose droplet earrings become tears pouring into a pink anemone which is glowing gold. I've taken a photo at an angle to show the gold powder shimmering. Behind her is a dark landscape with a scene of mountains and water.
The pastels used are quality Rembrandt and Sennelier chalk pastels which have been fixed with with a light coating of Winsor & Newton Artist's Fixative spray. The paper is Somerset 300gsm textured printmaking paper with a tooth ideal for pastels.
Available in the mount board shown but please note that this board has been in place around the drawing since it was exhibited in Ireland in 2006 so I would suggest it be replaced at time of framing. It has been stored in my plan-chest since then.
Packaged carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue sandwiched in lightweight foam-core sheets and sent by reliable courier.
