I've known a couple of people over my lifetime that have the gift of synesthesia; an ability to experience a crossing of the senses, and specifically with them, the colours of music. I happen to be a very musically-inclined visual artst, so although I do not share this gift, I have always felt that I am drifting around the edges of it... almost within my grasp. This "G Minor Seventh" painting is my interpretation of the chord played by a man in a checkered shirt on a banjo. Plucky.
