An acrylic painting on a box (thick sided) canvas. The cactus plant was my inspiration, and this work is part of a larger series of works I'm doing looking towards the future of the planet and what changes climate change will bring. I try to remain hopeful about our ability to respond to the changes if we cannot avert them, but at the same time, the unusual colour palette points to the fact that this is not nature as it was intended.
