"don't we all" has a profound energy and unobtrusive strength to it, that enriches any surrounding. The soft purple tones are arranged in two ways: first, in large diamond shapes that seem to fan out one over another. Second, in free flowing brushstrokes of the motive. The colors are accentuated by white swirls, white thick splashes of color and white spraypaint, that add movement and bring in an airy quality. Underlying and connecting it all is another diamond shape - made of sand, giving texture and yet another dimension of the image. I invite you to get lost in the piece and soak up all that it has to offer.
"don't we all" belongs to an ongoing series called "free flow". I work on the series in very irregular intervals, since I need to be in a very special state of mind in order to truly let the colors flow out of me and onto the canvas. Hence, each one of the "free flow" artworks is very special, as it is painted with pure intuition.
