Original artwork description:

Misty mornings along the Rio Grande are a rare occurrence in the high desert of New Mexico. Traveling north of Santa Fe, looking across to the cottonwoods and willows, I saw the river with the trees turning to fall colors as a living impressionist painting. The bosque of cottonwoods and willows creates a lush environment in the high desert of the Colorado Plateau.

This is the latest in a small series I am doing around the Rio Grande river. In this case using quick strokes with a Chinese writing brush on rough watercolor paper. 16" x 12" image size with 16" x 20" mat, ready to frame.

Perfect for home or office.

Thanks for looking!

Image was photographed to represent original colors, but your monitor colors may vary the colors slightly.
