Original artwork description:

I love winter and this work is inspired by winter. I find the darkness, the fog, the bare trees poetic. But one can also find a lot of colour in a winter landscape.

I made a basic outline when I started to paint this work and carefully added layers of colour. I did it all quite intuitively but I knew I wanted to have willow trees in this work.

At the end I added some sand for roughness and I added a touch of gold for a glow. The upper part I did with layers of coffee and grey acrylic paint to depict a winter sky.

In inches the work is 31.5 x 31.5 x 0.7

The painting is ready to hang with picture wire between two folding eyelet/pointed hangers.

The sides of the canvas are painted black and - as always - I used only artist quality material.
