Artist's description:

Another in my series of wild flower paintings. This still life grew from a charcoal drawing made of some red campion and daisies I picked along the banks of the Crinan Canal while sailing this summer on the west coast of Scotland.
The flowers are arranged in a simple glass vase with a striking blue striped window in the background. Some of this work is imaginary and some is from realistic drawing.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint and charcoal

Blue window, red campion (2016)
