Portrait of a female member of the Black Panther Party revolutionary African-American liberation movement, formed in 1966 by Bobby Seale and Huey P. Newton.
This movement has the particularity of having had the participation of women activists from the start, which has increased throughout the life of this party, even going so far as to exceed the number of men.
This portrait does not represent a woman who existed, it comes out of my imagination and comes as a tribute to all women activists.
