this little bear, well, he has disguised himself, so as to blend in, he feels a lot more relaxed that way!
I have collaged with papers and painted with acrylics on top, I love this technique, it frees me up and ideas come out looser and a bit different to my usual work, the inspiration for this painting came from a news item, where a woman from Canada had not seen that a stuffed bear was not real, she was in the UK, no bears here sweetie... so she drove off the road, no harm done, but it struck me as so funny, but then again... I am not used to bears roaming the woods!
The canvas, ready stretched and ready to hang, measures 30 cm x 24 cm (12" x 9.5")
I have varnished it with a UV varnish.
The painting is signed on the front and titled on the back of the canvas.
It comes to you in a little parcel, shipped from my studio in Denmark, and packed very carefully so it arrives safely.
