Artwork description:

A contemporary take on a barn owl sculpture. I modelled the owl in clay and then made a silicone mould and cast the owl in bronze and copper resin. The sculpture is almost 2D, like a relief sculpture, but mounted on a plinth. See photos for how narrow the sculpture is from the side on. The front is modelled in detail and the reverse is left unmodelled (see photos). The sculpture is mounted on an oak plinth, with an aluminium base. The edition is limited to twelve.
