This artwork is a homage to the primordial and enduring spirit of the forest. Through the medium of oil paint, I have conjured a forest not of individual trees, but of history and memory, each stroke representing the layered life of the forest through the ages. The verticality of the composition, with its elongated forms, echoes the towering presence of ancient trees, standing as silent witnesses to the passage of time. An invitation to the viewer to ponder the enduring and interconnected cycles of nature. It seeks to remind us of the ancient wisdom ingrained in every root and leaf, and of our own place within this larger, living world.
