Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Asleep on the earth and with a pale dawn breaking behind a dark sky, this woman is dreaming, burning with desire. She is like a comet landing on the earth.

The man who she has conjured up in her dream before waking, is morphing into the dark landscape, his hair is becoming the distant trees and his lower back and buttock mirroring the hill on the horizon.

Rich dark earthy pastels colours predominate but where his breath touches her face and bosom, she is bathed in a ethereal turquoise glow which reflects onto her hand which is being tenderly cupped in his…she holds some little red berries which mirror the colour of the flames of her passion and the flowery glowing warmth of her dream which hovers around her head masking her hair.

Materials used:

paper 300 gsm, chalk pastel, caran d'ache pencil
