"Shadows at the Window, 2016" by Alison Headley

"In this piece I wanted to evoke a sense of quiet contemplation. The never-ending winter months spent inside watching life go its pace from your window, in the safety of your home where it's warm and secure. This prints has many layers printed from the first being the background which is a monoprint for the sky, then a linocut for the branches then another monoprint for the shadows and shading then finally a second linocut for the window and lace of the curtain."

"'Who Ever Lov'd that loved not at first Sight?' (orange birds), 2014" by Anne Gournay

"This work is part of the series of prints inspired by my walks in Hampstead Heath, and which is called "connected". It initially started with my realisation that the branches of the tree in the winter, made me think of the veins in the heart, and how I felt alive and connected to the world being surrounded by nature."

"Reflections Unfurled, 2016" by Rebecca Pells

“Beneath the dust an inner harvest toils strengthening, strengthening, nourished by a place beyond thoughts, a lixor of passion, reciprocal, replenishing. Verdure anew with each season past. A gentle breeze as particles stir, at first one spec then two, three. Hurry not, slowly to unfurl the green shoots once more, carefully, tenderly as a butterfly cupped.”

"Vendra, 2015" by Zhana Viel

“The leaves fly over the window and utter a word as they pass, To the face that leans from the darkness, intent, with two dark-filled eyes, That watch for ever earnestly from behind the window glass.”

"The Great Escape, 2015" by Daniel Byrne

“This piece demonstrates almost 200 beautiful Monarch butterflies in their classic cluster formation trying to escape the confines of a sash window. The window is an original Victorian sash that has been lovingly restored then given a distressed effect. Each butterfly has been handcrafted out of paper. The top and underside are printed photographically and then handcut and bonded together. Each pair of hand created wire antennae are then attached and the butterfly is then positioned in place on glass.”

""New day" large 48"x36", 2016" by Laura Spring

“This artwork was inspired by the snowy fields of winter, a momentary pause between the life cycles of nature. "New Day" implies a fresh start, a beginning for new growth. Neutral, minimalistic colors applied in numerous layers convey the feeling of calm expectation.”

"Between Four trees, 2016" by Gavin Dobson

“In 2014 I was asked to paint live at Liverpool Street Station in London to help promote the Victoria & Alberts upcoming exhibition 'Constable: The Making of a Master. My brief wasn't to paint like Constable but they were after a strong painter to create a buzz around the station. I was very pleased with the overall painting but come early 2016 I felt I could improve it further by bringing in some further light and texture to the painting and now I am very proud to put it as part of my online gallery at Artfinder.”

"City coast, 2015" by Lana Frey

“'City Coast' is a painting of a coastal city with warm sunset getting ready to color streets, buildings and snow white yacht sails. It is no specific city, just an imagination of a calm and a pleasant Saturday afternoon at some cozy place where ocean, urban life and a free time come together. A soft rustle of ocean waves gives a picture a finishing touch.”

"Lunar Sunset, 2016" by Maxine Walter

“This piece was inspired by Tim Peake's visit to the International Space Station. I use photographs as my source material for all of my images. These are digitally transformed into the piece you see here. Following the Space Station Astronauts on Twitter I get to see the incredible images that they capture from the space station - this piece is my homage to them!”
