"Sources life, 2014" by Tsvetomir Iliev

“I created this work during my retreat in a mountain hut. It captures the magic and the hidden complexity of the mountain. There was a small pond full of life, mystery and adventure which inspired me to create it. I used glue to press the bark pieces together to create a base for a three dimensional composition. This produces a surface that is rich in detail and a very gentle relief. Then I paint over it, carefully observing the curves, forms and shapes that appear on the ghost-like bark”

"Arioso (large canvas), 2016" by Kellie Schofield

“Dreamy and atmospheric, this coastal inspired abstract looks forward, as I do to lighter evenings. I have used layer upon layer of soft greys, silvery blues and white acrylics with gesso, and tiny flicks of gold. The result is soft and calm. It's a peaceful painting, one to soothe the spirit.”

"Frozen Dawn, 2015" by Hugh McKay

“Sunrise during the winter of 2015. It was a cold morning, close to zero degrees Fahrenheit. The warmth of the sun caused vapour to rise into the freezing air, and flow along the surface of the bay. A full spectrum of colour could be seen in the water, snow, and ice enveloping the coastal granite.”

"Beyond time, 2016" by Konstantinos Skopelitis

“I love faces, a clean look, an expression, a facial gesture is enough to inspire me in order to capture them on my canvas... When beauty goes beyond time, the result has a vintage aesthetic that remains unspoilt...”

"Dreamscape #1 (Limited Ed. 1 / 5), 2015" by Roberto Ballini Photography

"To be creative you must be able to interact between real truths and the hidden ones. All of us are used to observe the visible things but only in our dreams we realise that the most important way to come in touch with them is to reveal their hidden parts. This series of manipulated photographs tries to connect the experience of lucid dreaming to the photographic component, looking for an aesthetic synthesis that is solved with the absence of colour but with an infinite amount of white light."

"Ilkley rooftops to Cow and Calf - (Plum), 2016" by Talia Russell

“This print is a view from Victorian Ilkley rooftops to the iconic Cow and Calf rock formation in the distance, high on Ilkley Moor. The Cow and Calf Rocks are a large rock formation consisting of an outcrop and boulder so named because one is large, with the smaller one sitting close to it, like a cow and calf. (Can't quite see it myself!) Ilkley Moor is famous in Yorkshire for the local dialect folk song 'on Ilkla moor bhat'at' (On Ilkley Moor without a hat).”

"A Dream to Hold, 2015" by Kerr Ashmore

“I dream of sea and sky, of past and future, of love and hope. Dreaming keeps me strong when strong is what I need to be. Being out in nature helps me remember to hold on to my dreams and 'A Dream to Hold' represents looking out beyond the everyday and finding that those dreams can be closer than we think.”
