"Abstract Evening, 2016" by Chris Walker

“Abstract Evening [409] evokes the long shadows of a warm summer evening. A poplar wood with the Lubron hills, corn fields and vineyards in the distance. Possibly. Poplar woods are few and far between, also the trees are generally rather regularly planted. However I abstracted this view of the trees and the background.”

"Sunset at Welcombe Mouth, 2013" by Bert Bruins

“Welcombe Mouth is one of North Devon's best beauty spots, somewhat remote, with ancient geological rock formation, a waterfall and the Atlantic ahead of you. This is an interpretation in oils of a spectacular evening with mixed sunshine and showers, late in the evening.”

"Cafe At Night, 2015" by Theo Michael

“Theo takes his inspiration from his local environment and the painting Cafe At Night depicts the exterior of a popular and trendy restaurant and bar in Larnaca, the Art Cafe 1900. As with many of Theo's paintings it was the effect of light and shade that attracted him to this cafe style scene.”

"Time to rest II, 2016" by Tomasa Martin

“Newspapers for me are an object of desire and a conduit for the stories I want to tell. This picture was made to be added on the "COMMUNICATION" series. What I try to create in this collection is that special feeling of having a coffee while looking to the world through a window of a newspaper.”

"Florida Sunrise, 2016" by Olesya Sytnyk

“This painting was inspired by beautiful photograph with kind author's permission to use it. The picture was taken during one of the gorgeous sunrises in Florida and it shows the amazing harmony of colors, water reflection, and mood. I recently started to develop a finger painting technique and just could not resist putting the image onto a canvas. The work was kind of challenge to me, as I tried to do it with my fingers only and without any brush touches. However, I enjoyed the process and it the work turned out successful - it brings peace and quietness to its viewers.”

"Crowning glory, 2016" by Anne Storno

“I am impressed by the surprising ways Queen Elizabeth II has become a cultural Icon. It's the face of distant historic authority, a literal figurehead, having no real power but a symbolic supremacy. In this portrait, Queen Elizabeth is surrounded by famous London's place : St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, London Bridge, London Eye, Carnaby Street and also David Bowie's portrait and a famous Banksy's graffiti, creating a unique and magical decor that reinforces her main qualities: consistency and longevity.”

"Lightning, 2016" by Gallery62x

“This original work features a bold composition of yellow, blue, and black, with a thick layer of impasto texture. My artwork serves in part as a mechanism to empower communication between the mind of the artist, and the imagination of the viewer. What motivates me to create is a moral purpose to achieve, create, and inspire all around me.”
