About Sarah Wymer

I have been painting for seventeen years.  I mostly work in oils, but have experimented with acrylics and watercolors as well.  My style is impressionistic and realistic.  In my artworks, I express myself through bold and colorful portraits of moments, nature, objects, and people.  Portraits inspire me.  I strive to capture a universal soulfulness, love, and familiarity within each painting.  I began my artistic journey by painting portraits of close friends.  As time went on I found myself attracted to the depiction of other subjects as well.
