  • Paintings inspired by October's Autumn colours

    Paintings completed in October 2019 ... two of angels and one tree - inspired by the wonderful autumn colours in my garden. These paintings are: 1) Angel and bluebird of happiness ... 2) Magical Tree .... 3) Angel Light ... Each painting is 30 x 43cm / 12 x 17” on Indian handmade paper using Winsor & Newton watercolour, Derwent Inktense crayon, chalk pastesl and pearlescent acrylics.

    Sky and Land

    Throughout November and December I've been working on a series of small 20 x 20cm (8x8") studies inspired by the landscape where I live in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Some of these are approaching abstracts. Today I began painting on a linen square format painting 30 x 30cm using washes of Gold, Burnt Sienna, Phthalo Blue acrylics with highlights of white.

    My paintings & drawings are carefully packaged. The actual artwork is wrapped in a sheet of acidfree tissue, then in a layer of cellophane. I fix that to a lightweight but strong sheet of foam-core. Your packet will contain Artfinder's paperwork, my Signed Cert. of Authenticity and a sample of my beautifully printed Greetings cards. I use a reputable courier, usually UPS for overseas, or Royal Mail (within the UK).
