    Andy Scott - Artist

Andy loves creating Pop Art paintings of iconic people and everyday news events.

He started drawing & painting at a young age and spent years learning and developing his talent until moving into the commercial Screen Printing & Lithography industry, before returning to his passion in recent years.

He has exhibited his work in galleries and commercial buildings throughout the Bay of Plenty. In addition, Andy’s paintings are in numerous private collections in Scotland, England, N Ireland, Canada, Vanuatu and New Zealand.

Andy continues to explore new ways to share his Pop Art culture; he has a Diploma in Art, City & Guilds in Screen printing and a Certificate in Lithography. In recent years he has started to share his love of art by tutoring adults by running art courses locally.

Andy currently lives in the Whakatane District with his wife Christine and their menagerie of animals.

Andy is available for commissions, whether it is your favourite pet, car or even the mother in-law, he is more than happy to meet your brief.
