Artist's description:

My younger sister gave me 6 or 7 yucca plants last fall, and I planted them on the south side of the shed. They made it through the winter, and they're blooming. Their flowers are so beautiful. Kind of waxy like an orchid. The leaves are long and slender like a lily. I love the desert, and these plants are fairly common all over the southwestern US.

Materials used:

linoleum, oil-based ink, Strathmore 500 paper, watercolor
