Original artwork description:
Xylophone Player at the Palau. Surreal floor suggests a departure from every day reality, meeting with the muse, traveling to the realm of creativity. This started life as a pen and ink done in the audience at the Palau de la Musica in Valencia, Spain. Then I did the acrylic painting. Some of the floor patterns are scapes from the rough side of a sponge revealing layers of paint.
