This Linocut was inspired by a wren in our garden. We seem to see them in Spring mostly.
The design is made with three printing plates. Plate one is for the green ink, the second is the light brown and the final plate is the dark brown colour. The ink used is specialist printmaking ink and I have used acid free Canson 180gsm cartridge paper. The colours, textures and registration at the edge of any handmade print vary which makes each one unique. I have tried to capture the true colours in the photo but there might be a slight variation.
I have made an edition of 95 of this design. The image size is 21 x 15 cm and there is a margin of 3-4 cm around the edge to allow for framing. All the Linocuts are numbered and signed.
I will package the linocut in a reinforced envelopes and the artwork will posted flat not rolled.
