"What's the colour of your number? II" is a modern contemporary painting and sculpture - ready to hang in a deep (4,5 cm) object frame (without glass).
I use telephonebooks as colour palette - and sometimes they transform into paintings themselves. When I sense that this happens, I work on it as a painting and prepare it like a sculpture. This is the second one! Acrylic, spray paint and acrylic lacquer on a phonebook of Frankfurt (Main).
"What's the colour of your number? II" is already mounted in a deep object frame with a distance to the back, so it looks like it is free pending (have a look at the close ups).
The size of the painting-object is 21 x 30 x 0,5 cm. It is ready to hang in a professional white wooden object frame (caja from boesner), the size including the frame is 34,5 x 44,5 x 4,5 cm.
