A short distance from my home Henry Hurt works his vintage hand frame machine designed by Rev. William Lee in 1589. Henry's premises date back to 1781.
Vivien Leigh wore one of his finest mohair shawls in Gone with the Wind in 1939.
Traditional shawls created by Mr. Hurt have featured in period films and dramas such as Dr Zhivago, Bleak House and Pride and Prejudice.
Celebrity customers include Danni Minogue, actress Rachel Bilson and Kate Middleton.
The Queen bought Henrys shawls for the new born Prince Charles and the new Prince George wore one as he left maternity hospital.
As have offspring of Tony Blair, Gerri Halliwell, Jerry Hall, Anneka Rice and Jamie Oliver
