Original artwork description:

I'm constantly fascinated by water that appears none threatening as in the edges of rivers, lakes, Scottish lochs and always my favourite, Italian Lakes. I try to capture the tranquillity of being beside a body of calm water with its inviting edges, or gentle banks. Using oil paints and a variety of palette knives with hard and soft brushes, this scene is one I revisit a couple of times a year.
The painting has bound edges and is ready to hang, but could be framed quite easily.
I include a certificate of authenticity.
