Original artwork description:

A town just across the Irish border in Northern Ireland. Some years ago, I regularly travelled from Belfast to Dublin as my husband worked out of one city and youngest son studied in the other. It surprises me how different the colours in the island of Ireland are from those of Scotland. In this image, I've represented some of the varying shade of green that the Emerald Isle throws up, with a view across to the east and the British mainland.... well beyond the cloud line! The painting, 80cm x80cm, comes ready to hang, with elegant bound edges, but can be put in a contemporary frame. it comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

oil paints and palette knives with variety of brushes.
