Artist's description:

This is a monotype print of one of the favourite places I like to go and relax and think about Samuel Coleridge and imagine that he might have seen this rock too. The print explores working with various colour combinations, as the light of the day shifts and changes the colour of the ock as it sits exposed once the Bristol Channel's tide has gone out.

This is a rock I keep going back to experimenting with colour combinations and seeing the shift in the shadows and light through the day.

The monotype print is framed in an antique cream mount frame, with backing board and placed in a polybag for protection.

Materials used:

Waterbased Printing Ink on Cartridge Paper.

Watchet Rock (2018)
