You'll be forgiven for thinking that this is a Linoprint of a wasp but in fact it is a sly moth mimicking a wasp as a way of warding off predators.
The more I research the world of bugs for my growing series of insects the more I love them - They aren't just small works of art but they're clever too!
This print is a combination of Monoprint for the yellow and a two colour reduction.
All my pieces in my shop are completely handcrafted by me, from the initial design to cutting the lino and then printing the work on the press. My editions are very small usually no more than 4 or 5, but because of the way I continuously experiment even each print I do is an original work of art.
