Original oil on canvas landscape painting by Julie Arbuckle.
The view south down Loch Lomond from the summit of Ben Lomond. Clouds rolling in below, on a flat calm summer's day.
Ben Lomond is a munro (Scottish mountain over 3000ft) which is really popular due to it's proximity to Glasgow (Scotland's biggest city), easy path to the top and stunning views (given the weather is good!).
Known as "Glasgow's Hill" because it can be seen from the city (and far beyond) Ben Lomond is probably the best known and most climbed of all of the Scottish Munros. Many people have a fondness for her, and rightly so.
