Handthrown vessel, well balanced and light weight from china clay wich was thrown on the wheel by my partner Andy Sheppard and hand painted by myself.
Using my paintings as an inspiration for ceramics and using them as a three dimensional canvas, using oxides underglazes. Finished with a burnishing technique.
Recently I refired this range of vessels with a transparent glaze.
I've added a photo of the painting wich inspired me.
