This little vanilla smelling teddy bear reminds me of cherished childhood memories. I would put my nose to his head or belly and he would smell like delicious vanilla. I loved to sniff him as I would cuddle with him at night and play with him during the day. He comforted me with his soft fur and scented belly. Even still I sniff him occasionally when I visit my parents, and that faint yet familiar smell takes me back to simpler times. Vanilla Bear sits on the shelf and keeps my memories safely tucked away inside his soft stuffing. I’m grateful for the friendship, comfort, and memories he provided to the little girl who loved him.
